Two tips in one night!
Two of the league’s lowest scoring teams lowest scoring teams are facing each other tonight in the Boston Celtics and Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are a low scoring team by design – they shoot good, high percentage shots but play at the slowest pace in the league (just over 97 possessions per game). On the other hand, the Celtics do try to push the pace a bit, but are just not shooting particularly well to start the season – entering tonights game with the third-lowest shooting percentage in the NBA.
I can see this being a relatively low scoring affair – under 217.5 seems about right, but is only available at long odds on. Because of this, I’ve decided to side backing there to be between 212-222 points scored at 100/30 with Skybet. Finally a bit of value!
This price is too big considering the scoring styles of these two teams over the first couple of weeks of the season and it would be a big surprise to see the final score as anything higher than 222. In my opinion, the biggest threat to this bet would be the game being tight and going to overtime.
