Tonight the Milwaukee Bucks face the Golden State Warriors in what could potentially be an NBA Finals matchup come June.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have the tough task of going to Oracle Arena in the second game of their road trip out West. The Warriors are in the midst of a five game homestand and have won their last eight games – losing only one game so far this season – whilst the Bucks sit second in the Eastern Conference with an 8-2 record.
Needless to say, the Bucks will be up against it tonight. However, there is a bit of respite for the team: Golden State’s defensive surpemo and ‘glue guy’ Draymond Green is out injured with a toe sprain. At power forward, Green would probably have been Antetokounmpo’s matchup tonight and his absense should make scoring a bit simpler for the Greek Freak.
Our two bets for tonight’s game focus on Milwaukee’s star man.
Antetokounmpo has been averaging nearly 26 points per game this season and I don’t see a potential matchup against either Kevin Durant or Jordan Bell stopping the 6’11 wrecking ball tonight. Tonight promises to be a high-scoring game and Green’s absense should see Antetokounmpo score over 26.5 points – the even money with Paddy Power and Betfair Sportsbook appears to be great value.
Additionally, I think Giannis has a great chance of recording his third triple-double of the season tonight. He’s the focal point of his team at both ends of the floor and Golden State’s best defender and disruptor isn’t playing. Antetokounmpo to record a triple-double is currently available at 15/2 with Skybet. I think this represents good value considering the circumstances, but as it’s unlikely he’ll achieve this and surpass his points line I’m recommending half your usual stake here.
After the Jazz’s poor second half showing on Monday night, here’s hoping we can get our first winning tip of the week!
Giannis Antetokounmpo over 26.5 points @ EVS – 1pt
Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-double @ 15/2 – ½pt
Disclaimer: Yes, I had to google how to spell Antetokounmpo. Yes, I used copy and paste instead of typing it out over and over again!
He went off!!!

He did! Scored 24 points and didn’t play one minute of the fourth quarter. Him and the Bucks played TOO well for our bet to land!
